Our Primary Care Team is composed of family physicians, a nurse practitioner and primary care nurses. The clinic provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment services. Emphasis is placed on the promotion and maintenance of good health, and on the continuity of care.
Services Provided:
General health / wellness counselling, preventive care and routine physicals
Screenings to detect potential problems early (i.e. Cervical exams, pap smears etc.)
Screenings and treatment for sexually transmitted and viral hepatitis B and C infections
Assessment, diagnosis, management / treatment of health conditions and/or injuries
Management and client support for many chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure
AIDS/HIV/STD treatment, education and prevention
Immunizations
Family planning, birth control and emergency contraception
