We are hiring an Addictions Recovery Support Worker, someone who brings compassion, lived experience, and a steady, caring presence. In this role, you’ll be there to listen, encourage, and guide clients as they take steps on their healing path. You’ll share in daily activities, support wellness planning, and help create a safe environment where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
What You’ll Do
- Support clients through their recovery journey with calm, caring guidance
- Help with daily activities, outings, and wellness planning
- Offer support during challenging moments
- Keep clear, confidential notes
- Work closely with our wellness team to ensure client safety and wellbeing
What You Bring
- Peer Support training or eligibility
- Current CPR certification
- At least 2 years of experience supporting others in recovery or similar settings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, trauma‑informed approach
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Class 5 Advanced Driver’s License
